CAMDEN, Ark. — A 37-year-old Camden man was killed Saturday afternoon inside a local tobacco store in a sudden shooting that occurred in broad daylight.
Bobby Kuhn was shot multiple times shortly after 3 p.m. on May 9, 2026, at Fairview Tobacco Warehouse on Fairview Road. He was transported to Ouachita County Medical Center and later airlifted to UAMS, where he died from his injuries.
Camden police arrested Deandrea Pace, 23, of Stephens, shortly afterward. Pace was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with first-degree murder. He is being held at the Ouachita County Detention Center.
Witnesses reported that the suspect entered the store, approached Kuhn at the counter, and opened fire after a brief exchange. The shooting took place with several customers present, leaving the small community stunned.
Police have not publicly disclosed a motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.

So the police have not "released a motive." that assumes there *was* a motive. as if 2Gs plan things or think in terms of cause and effect, instead of being tossed about on a sea of their own whims and poor understanding of everything around them. the closest anyone will come to a "motive" is that this valedictorian shot the victim because he felt like it at the time.
